Visa Debit

Visa Debit has a number of fantastic features to help you access your own funds conveniently and easily.

• Insert your card when using EFTPOS, select 'Credit' or 'Visa Debit' and transactions are fee-free¹
• Cash withdrawal limit of $2000
• Load onto Google PayTM or Apple PayTM to shop with your smart phone
• Acceptance at 30 million locations in 150 countries (including ATMs)
• No need for travellers cheques and credit cards
• Shop online, overseas², over the phone, by ATM or EFTPOS, or in person all using your own money
• Selection of your own PIN³
• Pay in confidence with Visa Secure and eftpos Secure
• Cardholders aged 12 to 16 years have a $500 cash withdrawal limit per day

• Maximum payWave transaction amount is normally $200 per transaction. Any amount above this will require you to enter your PIN or insert your card and use your PIN.
• Maximum of 15 payWave transactions can be made per day
• Maximum total amount spent with payWave per day is $250
If these limits are reached, you need to insert your card and use your PIN. Please note, you could be charged transaction fees for making contactless transactions with some merchants. When using your Visa Debit card, insert your card and select 'Credit' or 'Visa Debit' to ensure that it is a fee-free transaction.

• If you believe your card has been misused, lost or stolen or the PIN has become known to someone else, you have 2 options:
• If you have the Northern Inland SmartPay App you can report your card lost or stolen, block (and unblock your card if you find it again) and change your PIN.
• If you don't have the App, you must contact us as soon as possible on 02 6763 5111 and select option 2, or visit your branch.
• Ensure you report unauthorised transactions and lost/stolen cards promptly. Delays may affect your liability under the Terms and conditions of card use, and the ePayments Code.
