Any resident in Australia can become a Member of Northern Inland. To enjoy the many benefits of being a Northern Inland Member you need to provide personal identification at the time of opening an account. This is a federal legal requirement.

At a minimum, you will need to provide one document form List A OR a document from List B AND a document from List C.
If you are unable to attend at a Branch because you live outside northwest New South Wales, under some circumstances we will accept certified copies of your relevant documents, provided the certification is made by a solicitor or Justice of the Peace. The certification needs to include the full name and address of the certifying person, as well as any identifying registration number.

On joining Northern Inland Credit Union Ltd, each Member is required to purchase a share for a nominal amount, which is $10 for individuals 18 years and over and incorporated associations, and $2 for individuals under 18 years.
