Visa Small Ticket Transaction Service Visa’s Small Ticket Transaction Service allows merchants to accept Visa debit, credit and prepaid cards without obtaining the cardholder’s signature or PIN, after swiping/inserting their card, for transactions under A$35. The service is designed to increase transaction speed and cardholder convenience, while reducing cash handling and operating costs for merchants. Visa payWave Visa payWave is contactless technology, with participating merchants and financial institutions, that delivers benefits of speed and convenience whereby consumers don’t have to swipe/insert their card or hand it over to a cashier, for purchases up to the higher value of A$100. Northern Inland will be launching Visa payWave technology on our Visa Credit cards on 23rd November 2011.
