Register your Membership Details
When you download the app to your phone you will be asked to enter your Online Banking login details. As part of the registration process, you'll be asked to select a 4 digit passcode - you will use this passcode when you each time you use the app.
For security, we ask that you choose a passcode that's different to your PIN. And like your PIN, you should keep your passcode confidential.
Android Users - Register your Northern Inland Visa Cards for Tap & Pay feature - smartPAY
Once you’ve downloaded and registered the app to your phone, you need to register your preferred Northern Inland Visa Credit OR Debit card.
You can do this by looking for the smartPAY icon and entering your:
•CVV2 (the three digit security number on the back of your card)
Create a Northern Inland smartPAY passcode
Once you’ve registered the cards, you’ll be asked to create a passcode specifically for when you Tap & Pay. You’ll need this passcode to turn the app on and off to make a contactless payment at an EFTPOS terminal.
For your security, we recommend that you choose a passcode that’s different to your PIN. And like your PIN, you should keep your passcode confidential.
Then you’re ready to Tap & Pay wherever Visa payWave is accepted.
