2. Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited offers online trading system under its own Australian Financial Services licence (AFSL 222629).
3. We recommend that you make your own appropriate enquiries of Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited to satisfy yourself that the service offered by them meets your requirements.
4. NICU has not assessed your individual personal circumstances nor considered your particular financial position to determine whether this service is appropriate for your needs.
5. NICU recommends that you seek independent professional advice prior to transacting on the stock market and/or utilising the service offered by Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited. We recommend you read the conditions of use, financial services guide and PDS from Global Electronics Services Pty Limited before acquiring the online trading service.
6. Trading on the stock market carries a high degree of risk to the investor, and due to fluctuations in value, the investor may not get back the amount they have invested.
7. The value of investments denominated in foreign currencies may diminish or increase due to changes in exchange rates. Before investing, NICU recommends that you seek independent advice where necessary.
8. It is also recommended that you ensure that adequate protection of your internet and computer environment be maintained to protect against unauthorised use, hackers, viruses, Trojans and other associated dangers. In addition, passwords should be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The arrangement between NICU and Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited is a referral arrangement and is governed by an agreement entered into by NICU and Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited.
2. The online trading service is provided under the AFSL number 222629 of Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited. The service is subject to the Financial Services Guide of Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited, applicable Product Disclosure Statement for each product and terms and conditions provided.
3. Members who access the online trading service acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
4. The On-line trading service provided by Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited through NICU’s website is available to members of NICU only. In addition, Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited has reserved the right to refuse, at their absolute discretion, to provide this service to any person or member of NICU.
5. Existing clients or staff of Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited are not permitted to utilise the on-line service through NICU’s website.
6. NICU is paid an amount of money by Global Electronic Trading for each trading transaction conducted by each eligible member of NICU on the online trading system of Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited. NICU will receive 50% of the brokerage fee paid by the member to Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited over and above $20. Currently the brokerage fee is $30. In this case, NICU will receive $5.
The amount of remuneration payable to NICU by Global Electronics Trading is subject to change.
7. Applicants must be 18 years or over.
8. NICU reserves the right to terminate this service at any time without notice.
9. In addition, NICU also reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
10. The member acknowledges and agrees that NICU is not responsible for:
• Ensuring the online trading service meets each member’s personal or particular requirements or financial needs.
• The accuracy or reliability of information provided to the member or made available by Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited
• Safety and security of personal information that the member may disclose to Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited.
• The online trading system being accessible at all times to member
• Ensuring the service will meet the member’s own particular needs.
• Any loss that may be incurred, either directly or indirectly, by the member as a result of utilising the online trading system.
• Ensuring the safety or security of the online trading system or that it is free from virus contamination, hacking or other unauthorised access.
11. The member’s right to utilise the online trading system is granted by Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited subject to an agreement between the member of NICU and Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited. The “Trading Facility Client Business Terms” govern this arrangement. NICU is not a party to this agreement nor is it responsible in the event that either party shall breach the terms of the trading facility agreement.
12. NICU has limited its liability to the extent permitted by law and is not responsible for any loss that a member may suffer as a result either directly or indirectly from Global Electronic Trading Pty Limited and their online trading service including but not limited to reliance on the online trading system, system error or failure, utilising the online trading system, unauthorised access and providing information to Global Electronics Trading Pty Limited.
13. NICU recommends that the member implements adequate security and safety measures on its computer against hacking, viruses, Trojans and other internet dangers. It is the responsibility of the member to keep the password secure and not to disclose this information to other parties.
